I keep seeing the word veneajelu when people talk about Finnish summers. From what I understand, it’s basically a relaxed boat ride, but it seems to mean more to locals than just sightseeing.
For someone visiting Finland, is veneajelu easy to try without much planning? Does it still feel special if you’re not going with locals?
Curious to hear if it’s worth fitting into a short trip.
